The assignment from Wilkinson (Schick as it’s known in the States) was to animate facial hair and to NOT use CGI. Our solution was to use a camera array of 48 cameras (think bullet-time in The Matrix) to capture 5 unique haircuts. We did collaborate with digital artists to help clean things up but the images that you see are painstakingly real, and we’re quite proud of them.
