BUDDHA PASSION

This was a little animation I made for the LA Phil series “Inside the Music”. The concept is by Johnny Fraser and myself. Composer Tan Dun wrote a Passion inspired by the Mogao Caves in China. These caves house ancient Buddhist art spanning a period of 1000 years. This little video was made to advertise a performance of Tan Dun’s Buddha Passion for the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 2019.
